Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Clinical Regeneration & Stem Cell Mobilisation
Break through the oxygen ceiling. Activate 800% more stem cells via Henry's Law.
Why oxygen reaches further where the bloodstream is already full.
Beyond the Wellness Threshold: The 2.0 ATA Imperative
There is a misconception in the market. Many centres offer “mild HBOT” (1.3–1.5 ATA). Whilst relaxing, genuine regenerative medicine only begins at 2.0 ATA.
At NEST Wellness, we facilitate protocols up to 2.4 ATA. This is not an arbitrary figure; it is the physiological threshold for critical processes:
- Stem cell mobilisation: Only at pressures from 2.0 ATA does nitric oxide (NO) trigger the bone marrow to release massive quantities of CD34+ stem cells (an increase of up to 800%).
- Infection control: At 2.4 ATA, tissue oxygen tension reaches levels (>1000 mmHg) that are lethal to anaerobic bacteria and crucial for deep wound healing.
The Mechanism: Henry’s Law
Under normal conditions, red blood cells are already 97% saturated. Simply breathing in additional oxygen has minimal effect. HBOT works through pressure increase. According to Henry’s Law in physics, gas dissolves in liquid under pressure. This saturates your blood plasma, lymphatic fluid and cerebrospinal fluid with oxygen. It reaches tissues where capillaries are too narrow for red blood cells (such as in inflammation or scar tissue).
The NEST Difference
We do not offer inflatable “soft chambers”. You enter a hard-shell medical chamber under supervision. We combine this clinical capability with Sanctuary comfort: privacy, ergonomics and noise-cancelling audio, ensuring your recovery is also a moment of rest.
From beneath the oxygen ceiling to supersaturation — Henry's law.
Beneath the ceiling
Red cells 97% saturated, plasma nearly empty — oxygen goes no further.
Plasma supersaturated
Beyond the ceiling, dissolved in plasma — into the tissue.
Stem cell mobilisation (+800% at 2.0 ATA)
Bactericidal action (at >2.0 ATA)
Neuro-angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation)
Direct mitochondrial biogenesis
Experiences with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
"Door de oxygen tank ben ik helder en energieker naar buiten gegaan."
"We besloten alles te meten: HRV, slaapscores en hartslag. Na 40 sessies kan onze dochter weer volledig dansen."
"Hij is niet zomaar een host, maar een echte coach. Alles wat hij aanbiedt, leeft hij zelf ook."

For those not yet convinced — the literature, and where it leads.
Repeated hyperbaric oxygen exposure lengthens telomeres by more than 20% and reduces senescent cells by 37% in healthy elderly.
Hyperbaric oxygen mobilises circulating CD34+ stem cells via a nitric-oxide-dependent mechanism in the bone marrow.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy significantly improves cognitive function, sleep quality and reduces fatigue and pain in post-COVID patients in a double-blind, placebo-controlled RCT.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy improves the healing of chronic wounds, particularly diabetic foot ulcers, compared with standard care (Cochrane review).
