The cheap inflatable chambers reach about 1.3 ATA. We go to 2.4 — the pressure at which oxygen truly dissolves into your blood plasma and penetrates deeper into tissue. The difference is not cosmetic; it is measurable.
Pure oxygen via mask
You breathe 100% oxygen through a mask; the exhalation is vented outside the chamber. The chamber air stays safe. Chambers that let themselves fill with oxygen accept a fire risk we do not take.
